Let’s connect a wheelchair to an elevator
We’re excited to begin the next KONE DX experiment, which will bring the winning idea to life! The idea was submitted by someone inspired by the thought of making life more seamless for wheelchair users in retirement homes.
“It would be interesting to connect the elevator to a wheelchair. The elevator could automatically take wheelchair users to their floor.”
A panel of judges selected the winning idea for its originality, innovative thinking and usefulness – and the winner received a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone.
KONE DX Experiments challenged the general public to explore the fun, surprising and inspiring possibilities that limitless connectivity could bring to future spaces by telling us what they would connect to an elevator.
